TreVista Group, L.P., a Dallas-based real estate development company, and Jack Griffin, the conceptual creator, have partnered to create Dream Garage USA, L.L.C. Dream Garage corporate headquarters are located in Dallas, Texas. It is directed by the three founding members: Travis Blalock, Jerry Mooty and Jack Griffin.
David Travis Blalock

Travis Blalock, a founder and partner in Dream Garage USA and TreVista Group, L.P., has built a 14-year career around the homebuilding industry.
Mr. Blalock’s responsibilities include project operations, site due diligence and analysis, land development, construction and budgeting.
Prior to joining TreVista Group L.P., Mr. Blalock was a shareholder and president of Dallas-based American Legend Homes. American Legend builds homes for first-time and move-up buyers as well as multi-million-dollar luxury homes in exclusive neighborhoods. Under Mr. Blalock’s leadership, the company’s revenues exceeded $39 million over the past two years as it completed nearly 300 homes.
At American Legend, Mr. Blalock was responsible for sales management, construction, plan development, starts/closings, warranty and marketing. He led the company to a number of honors including:
- McSam Award (four-time winner)
- Texas Star Award Builder of the Year
- Texas Star Award for Best Product
- Savvy Builder Magazine’s Custom Home of the Year
- Bonder Builder’s Industry Best (for being claims-free in 2004 and 2005)
In 2000, he founded Blalock Homes, a Dallas-based builder of high-end luxury homes. Prior to this venture, Mr. Blalock worked seven years for a nationally recognized builder.

Jack Griffin

The conceptual creator of Dream Garage USA, Jack Griffin brings an extensive professional background in real estate development to the team, as well as the unique perspective of a professional motor sport racer and collector.
Mr. Griffin began his real estate career with the Trammell Crow Company in 1971, where he shortly became a partner. He was responsible for land acquisition, project feasibility, architectural development, financing, construction and leasing, and management of almost two million square feet of office space. Mr. Griffin also personally developed properties throughout his extensive career.
An automotive enthusiast, Mr. Griffin began a professional racing career in 1983. As a professional racer, he has competed in some of the most prestigious races around the world, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans; the 24 Hours of Daytona; the Miami Grand Prix; and the LA Times Grand Prix at Riverside. An avid collector of rare Porsches, his cars and garage have been featured in magazines and on television programs nationwide. He continues to participate in prestigious touring events nationwide including: the Colorado Grand, the Copperstate 1000 and the California Mille.
Griffin earned his Finance degree from Baylor University.
Jerry W. Mooty

Jerry Mooty is one of the founders and partners of Dream Garage USA and TreVista Group, L.P.
TreVista Group is a real estate development partnership formed in 2006 specializing in both residential and commercial development. Mr. Mooty’s responsibilities as one of the managers include daily business operations for the company, banking relations, marketing and all legal responsibilities.
Further, Mr. Mooty is one of the founding partners of McCathern | Mooty, LLP, a civil litigation firm located in Dallas. He has served the firm as its managing partner since the firm’s inception in 1998. Jerry’s background and legal practice has focused on complex negotiations and counseling new business owners as well as handling litigious matters involving breach of contract, employment, commercial disputes, Deceptive Trade Practices Act, American with Disabilities Act, negligence, personal injury and product liability. Jerry began his legal career with the firm Godwin & Carlton k/n/a Godwin Pappas Langley Ronquillo, L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas. Jerry has served the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, Ltd., the Jerry Jones family and their respective business interests, Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation and its related entities, and many other businesses and individuals over the past eleven years. McCathern | Mooty, LLP is a litigation boutique with board certified lawyers who are at home in the courtroom. They are also known for their expertise in the ‘Non-Subscriber” arena. In 2003, Jerry was offered membership into the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, Dallas Chapter, based on his achievements as a business owner and founder. In 2004 and 2005, Jerry was featured as a “Rising Star” attorney by Texas Monthly – an honorable nomination by his peers.
